How to reach us
The fastest way is a phone call. Tell us what you need, where, and when, and we'll confirm availability. Email works if you prefer writing it down first. Waterloo Porta Pros picks up voicemails the same business day. If it's an emergency septic backup or a construction deadline that can't wait, call and ask for weekend service. Most customers in Waterloo get delivery within 24 hours of calling.
For porta potty rental, dumpster rental, restroom trailers, storage containers and septic pumping, we handle the whole process on the phone or online. Give us your address, your dates and how many units you need. We'll email a quote. You can rent for a day, a weekend, a week or a month. Payment is due before delivery unless we've worked with you before.
Service area and delivery
Waterloo Porta Pros covers Waterloo and the towns around it. Elk Run Heights is 6.2 miles east. Evansdale is 6.4 miles southeast. Cedar Falls is 6.7 miles west. Washburn is 7.8 miles southeast. Hudson is 10.0 miles southwest. Most deliveries need about 60 feet of straight clearance behind the truck for a roll-off dumpster. Portable toilets take less space. If you're unsure whether we can fit a unit at your site, describe the spot and we'll tell you straight.

How to prepare your rental
Before we deliver, check that the ground is level and solid. A standard portable toilet unit is about 44 by 48 inches on the ground and stands about 92 inches tall. If you're renting ADA accessible units, you'll need a 60 inch diameter turning circle per ADA Standards section 304.3.1, and a 36 inch minimum clear width on the approach per ADA Standards section 403.5.1. Tell us about overhead wires, soft ground or tight gates when you call. For a restroom trailer, we'll walk you through where it can go and how long setup takes. Portable handwashing stations need water access. If you're on a construction site with painting or coating work, handwashing is required under OSHA 1926.51(f)(1) if harmful contaminants are present. For temporary fencing, we'll tell you whether your site allows it and what anchoring looks like.

Frequently asked questions
Do you offer emergency service on weekends?
Yes. Call during business hours to set it up, or call and ask for weekend service if it's urgent. Emergency septic service and emergency portable toilets are available. Weekend rates are higher than weekday rates.
How often do you service a portable toilet?
One service visit per week is the standard interval under ANSI/PSAI Z4.3 for up to 10 users over a 40 hour week. If your site has heavy use or longer hours, more frequent service keeps units fresh. Learn how often porta potties are cleaned.
What's the difference between a standard and a deluxe porta potty?
A standard unit is basic: a toilet seat, a urinal, hand sanitizer and a holding tank of 60 to 70 gallons. Deluxe units have a flushing toilet, better ventilation, a larger holding tank and a nicer interior. Pick based on your budget and how long people will use it.
Do you have options for septic tank pumping?
Yes. A residential septic tank is typically pumped every 3 to 5 years, driven by tank size and household size. If you're selling a house or you've noticed slow drains, call for septic tank pumping. We also pump grease traps when fats, oils, grease and solids reach 25 percent of the liquid depth.
How do I know how many units I need?
On a construction site, OSHA 1926.51(c)(1) requires 1 toilet facility for 20 workers or fewer. For events, it depends on how long people stay and how many attend. Read how many porta potties you need or call and describe your event. We'll recommend a count.
